This recipe produces a yummy but rather 'runny' tzatziki. If you want it thicker add less white wine and more Greek yogurt. Personally I think the bread soaks it up better when it's runny. Plus it gets you more drunk. lol.

  • Sounds delicious. I've never heard of Greek yogurt.

  • It's just like a very thick and creamy plain yogurt. I don't know if you have it in the states. I suppose not many of you go to Greece for your holidays. Your all off to the bahmuda's and hawihi

  • Yum. Looks tasty. Is there no end to you're talents?

  • lol. I was trying to remember how Demitries made it in Greece. However he made it in much larger quantitys. I think I put too much wine in. It turned out very runny. However it tasted divine.

  • I love this recipe, but if you have the patience and the time, put a layer or two of cheese cloth in a strainer then pour the Greek yogurt on the cheese cloth and tie it up tight keeping it in the strainer. place the strainer with the yogurt over a bowl and store it in your refrigerator for 24 to 36 hours, you may have to empty the bowl once or twice. After a day or two of straining all the water our you will open up your cheese cloth and have a lovely textured base for your sauce.

  • I love your recipe videos, I always copy you and try it out. that's looks like something I'll just love so I'm going shopping lol thanks for sharing

  • Wow, that is one huge cucumber. It looks like a yummy recipe. I will have to try it sometime.

  • That looks like the cucumber sauce we used to use on gyros when I worked in a Greek restaurant. They never told me how to make it, though!
