Watch in High Definition! On July 12, I went downtown and met up with Evan, Nando, Austin, Scott, Wayne, Patrick, and Will for a fun evening of watching trains. We caught the BNSF DAYGO and Autoracks. Between the two trains, we ate at the Kansas City BBQ for dinner. We didn't feel like staying up until 4-5 a.m. in the morning for the circus train (obviously), so we headed home after the autoracks. This was a very casual night of railfanning as you can probably tell with the first train.
Trains:
Train 1: The Northbound BNSF M-SDGBAR1-12 DAYGO manifest crosses the intersection of Kettner Blvd and West G Street just south of Santa Fe depot. Led by BNSF ES44DC 7518. Trailing are BNSF ES44DCs 7561, 7783 and 7772. A few interesting cars on the train included a raised end flat car carrying telephone poles and an autoracks with written instructions not to load as it needs repairs. In addition to my own videography, thanks to Evan (CPSP352) for his suicide guy's point of view shot by standing the tripod up on the fence.
Train 2: The Northbound BNSF V-SDGCLO1-12 autoracks crosses Broadway and passes Santa Fe Depot led by BNSF ES44DC 7774. Trailing are BNSF ES44DCs 7729 and 7744. I don't feel like counting all of the autoracks, but we estimated that the train was about 8000 feet long. You do the math.
This is my last normal video from my 3rd year on YouTube. Be sure to watch my 3 year channel tribute on Monday. I promise lots of great videos in the coming year.

What location is that in San Diego?

@chefjavier Along the tracks next to the Kansas City BBQ for the first train and at Santa Fe Depot for the second train.

Great video! I'm just wondering, how do you determine the symbol for each train on BNSF?

@GulfWindProductions The firth letter is the train type (m for manifest). The SDGBAR means that the train originates in San Diego and ends in Barstow. 1 means first section I believe. 12 means the day of the month.
