To be honest, i didn't watch channel 5, or five as it's now called, but in terms of presentation and the channel's logo, anyone agreewith me it was much better back then?

Lets face it, the only time i watched channel five was on friday nights when all the crap ended and they started showing shitty porn films. And now they dont even do that? What a waste of a channel.

okay, the film from what I remember was shown on channel 5 in the UK sometime between 1999 - 2001 I think. The plotline basically was about a husband (Ardee or Ardy maybe? I think?)

Movies 24 show them nightly but would be nice to see them on terrestrial channels again! its the perfect post pub telly - hillariously bad acting, crap storylines and titties! What more could you want? Channel; 5 has to stop taking themselves so seriously these days!

Whilst the presentation has gone to tits compared to back then, I still think it's improved with programming. The Gadget Show is one of the best shows on TV and they certainly don't hold back on showing a fair few awesome movies.

Channel 5 used to be a joke, and lets face it they still are rather poor, But OMG they are nowhere near as bad as ITV1.Mindless drivel for chavs and dole scroungers! And they wonder why they are losing money.

Yeah that was the problem, but I think they could still bring the old logo back...people would soon forget the negative connotations it has.
