I've recently bought a Aiptek Action HD GVS. It should be the same model as the z700, it's just the american name. Try to upgrade to a new firmware to get the annoying beep-ing away. The only more annoying thing about the cam is the bad lense(Which doesn't show much), but else it's fine IMO.

Very nice!
Just bought this the other day, only cons i have noticed is a "bluish" light coming up in the lower part of the picture, when you use it with flash, fixed it with a piece of black tejp just above the flash, the reflection came from the "shiny" ring around the lens" a tip for all owners of this, otherwise, excellent cam.

I bought a Z700 Aiptek DV in Hong Kong by the end of April 2009. The Model Z700 have many problems, such as external microphone problems, battery failure. Don't buy this rubbish.

Olen ollut joo niinkin tyytyväinen, että tässä taloudessa noita kameroita on jo kaksinkappalein, molemmat suomesta ostettu.

The Model Z700 have many problems, such as external microphone problems, battery failure. Outside Video taking is Ok, Indoor is horrible.

Video quality is excellent, indoors good enough. All do not need an external microphone, and battery life is three times longer than the manufacturer promises. The camera will pay far less than 200 euros and so useless to complain if, for example, Sony's 1000 euro camera is better
