Cruel Verdict - Nigeria

Arriving in the village, we are greeted by Safiya, clutching her allegedly illegitimate daughter -- Adama. She is appealing the conviction on the grounds that her former husband is the child's father, even though they divorced 7 years ago. Under Islamic law, this can be used as a valid defence -- if the judge believes her.
