Any check engine light issue?

@boipinoi604 Not at first.Later some times. What happends is lines get pinched and it can cause the light to come on. if you skip gears sometimes you'll get one to, but they go away if you purpously stall the car.

Its been forever since I put that in, So I am not quite sure what were talking about, but the one that is mall goes in the middle of pipe itsself. Theres a little notch with a hole that you place it otherwise if you can't find where to put the old ones then you dont need them.

How hard is that to install? I want to put one on my Celica GT too.

not hard at all, it took about an hour and a half and the instructions were easy.

this is "short ram" only, not "short ram cold air"...

you know you can accelerate using the throttle near the filter instead of go in the car?

First off the cold air intake system only gives a 1 HP advantage over the short ram intake. Secondly, is there really a problem with the engine light being on? Mine is on now from some oxygemnsensor, but I'd prefer not to have the short ram intake cause any problems.

@boipinoi604 I have a short ram and I am having check engine light isues but I fixed it by takeing the little plasic pice off the intake manafold and it hasent come on sence

Hey I know this is an old video but i just wanted to know if you get any like hissing noises from the intake after you push the throttle. For example i push the throttle it revs then when the RPM goes down to 1 it jumps back to 2 and back to 1 and you hear a hissing noise...did you get this at all?

a thing to keep in mind while it is sitting in neutral it doesnt sound the same as when you are driving moving. beacuse the engine doesnt need to really use the tourque. i am sure the owner of this video would agree that sitting sounds different then while you are moving. morving sounds alot better because it works it harder

trust me the vid doesnt capture the true sound it sounds like a vacume.

i just put the same intake on my gt 02 and at idle it just pumps, then around 3000 it growls and 6000.

took my an hour on my 02 gt. just before i started i went over the instructions a couple of times to make sure i new what was coming next made it easier

i'm looking to install and intake to my celica, how do you like your short ram? and random question, do you or have you had any issues with your gas guage, cause my celica's guage isn't there. like at all.
