I suffer from familia hypercholesterolemia and my LDL was 9.8 and I am 30 years old, so have been told i will be on Atorvastatin for the rest of my life. So does what you say mean there is another way of keeping my condition under control without taking statin? Many thanks

I've been reading Fat and Cholesterol are Good for You by Doctor Uffe Ravnskov. Cholesterol is actually anti-inflammatory. People who live the longest have ** high ** cholesterol levels! Cholesterol is used to make serotonin, the steroid hormones, it's part of how your memory works, it's used in cell membranes.
People who had heart attacks had low and high cholesterol! It's not a factor in heart attacks. Check out the book!

I USED to trust doctors, now I think they are more interested in taking financial backhanders from drug companies, or orders from central government, than put our health first.
People used to live to 90 or more without taking statins.
Think : does the governmet REALLY want us to live longer, when the welfare system cannot cope as it is?
Do they REALLY want it?
