  • They say a bee's life span depends on how active they are. Does vacuuming them stress them out to the point that they lose some of their life span?

  • Obviously it can't extend their life span...However, we greatly regulate the amount of suction that vacuum is producing to the point where it is barely pulling the bees off the comb. I've do removals throughout the year and those that we remove in the winter (when there is little to no brood production before or after the removal) survived throughout the winter.

  • What a beautiful home! And Bill Owens is absolutely The Bee Whisperer!

  • Bill is the best!

  • We do one or two a year where we take them out of a chimney. It really depend on how far into the chimney they go.

  • That was an excellent job removing bees. They should be some good bees if they had survived 3 years without any mite treatments.
