  • The King sounds almost darker in the lower register, but brighter in the upper register. I like the Selmer better, you sound great!

  • Gracias... ya no tengo ninguno de los dos saxos, pero es cierto, ambos sonaban bien.

  • babrieltio ... Can you tell me what song is? I like it

  • of course... the song is "All the things you are"

  • when you use a mpc with a high buffle like the larson or jumbo java for example, most horns sound nearly the same. this is not one of the real good kings. if you would compare your selmer with a king serial nunber between 295xxx up to 380xxx and play both horns with a common mpc like a meyer maybe there would be a great difference. but anyway this is a video, and we as a listener can never here the same like a listener standing near you. Good Job, i like this video, keep on swinging.

  • I like King.

  • The Selmer sounded like it was more smoothly played and the player was more relaxed with playing it, but the tone of the King sounded amazing to me. That's just my take. I'm looking for a new tenor with a rough edge sound. Anyone have any recommendations?

  • Incidentally, my set up is a Selmer VI with Berg ... if you want to hear it, check my video (it's more smooth jazz than traditional), but I like Berg best of all the mouthpieces so far -- particularly good for sub-tones.

  • My vote is for the Berg and the Selmer VI. Excellent!

  • selmer 10r

  • Great job dude !

  • Is there any difference in sound for the audience (i know there is some for the player) between Metal and Ebonite mouthpieces with the exact same specs?

  • king win!
