In my opinion, and I understand that this is probably inaccurate by definition, but in my opinion, the word "nigger" doesn't necessarily pertain to only black people. To me, it can apply to anyone. There's a difference between a black person and a nigger (that's what I've been told), so couldn't nigger be seen as an adjective? By my interpretation, there could be white niggers, black niggers, any race can have niggers, but niggers are people of a race, but not necessarily everyone of that race.

@Archedgar has got a good point though. Some men won't have enough moral stability to look at a girl dressed like a whore and not rape her. Studies show that a majority percentage of rape is committed on women who are dressed provacatively or behave in an over-sexualised manner. If anything, I'd say Gibson was worried about whoever he was talking to, not trying to be deliberatly hurtful.
