This is how sea is is freezing. Not so often seen how it actually happens. All frames were taken with 2 minutes interval. So you can see how earth is turning and slow processes live up. Camera itself is located at the height of 27 meters in the lighthouse. You can see this webcam and other webcam with online weatherstation at www.keri.ee
The background music is from a great musician Jean Michel Jarre. 1990 'Waiting for Cousteau' title track.

  • jimmy7459: el mar Báltico es conectado con océano por un canal pequeño y estrecho que no permiten los flujos enormes entre el océano y el mar Báltico. El mar Báltico es como un lago grande y un poco :) salado. El nivel de agua depende de los vientos y podría cambiar desde +2 metros por 1m, pero generalmente desde +0,5m por 0,3m.

    Baltic sea is connected to ocean with a tiny straits that do not allow huge flows between ocean and Baltic sea. From the standpoint of the tides, Baltic sea is a big salty lake. Water level is dependant on winds, and could change +2m to -1m at extremes, but usually remains +0.5 -0.3 range
