it was largely the worst set printed. it was unintersting, had few 'solid' cards and was clearly a lie/gimmick and excuse to push more cards on players (rather than having a real place, say, like lorywn/shadowmoor's 4 block set)

overall not a great product. better than homelands.

alright, i just started playing magic a couple weeks ago, so i'm afraid i don't get the joke. what's the deal with dragonstorm?

at the time, dragonstorm decks were tearing up the tourney scene due to their almost unbeatable nature. :)

play lots of spells, most of which shut down your opponent entirely, and then play the dragonstorm getting 4 boggarden hellkites for the win :)

Ah this never gets old.... i remeber coldsnap haha so terrible... i was at my card store and the asshole worker there dared me to lick some of my smoothie that i spilled on the table for a coldsnap booster pack. i did and pulled a foil adakar valkyrie.... shit was halarious

Come to think of it... You just have bought a starter deck.. Then as you are getting home you realise that your cards won't be safe and you get protectors and try to tie them up with a tape so that you won't spend money on a deck box... After you fail on that part you buy one.. The very next day your friend owns you with the new card that he has just drew out from a booster. Then your wallet screams of pain...
