We appreciate the compliments!! We passed through Hot Springs eighteen years ago just by chance, moved here the following year and haven't looked back. They're just not making places like this anymore!! I would heartily encourage anyone considering a relocation to a kinder, gentler place to consider Hot Springs, SD - It really is as nice as it looks!!
After coffee at the Canterbury String Shop, come on down to the Health Food Store for the inside scoop on local swimming & hiking hot spots.

I too, would like to thank you for highlighting my beautiful town. Just to let you know, yes, the people who live here really are as wonderful as the scenery. This is the most peaceful, safe, clean, friendly place you will ever find. When you come back, stop in at the music store and have a cup of coffee with me!

I wanted to thank you for your very kind and gracious words about my hometown of Hot Springs. It's fantastic to hear an outsider's perspective. Often, we forget how lucky we are to live in an area steeped with history and beauty. I am very proud to say that I was raised in Hot Springs and that my family has been living in the area for over 120 years. I completely agree with you that small town living is a nice contrast to the drama of the big cities. I hope you enjoyed the architecture there!
