Who was Alfred Nobel? Chemistry Calendar, December: The History of Chemistry and Alfred Nobel

Chemistry has been a part of our lives for much longer that we have even called it chemistry. In the twelfth video of the Chemistry Calendar we sum up the year by taking a quick journey through the history of chemistry and take a closer look at Alfred Nobel and the Nobel Prizes.

The Chemistry Calendar is a joint project between Molecular Frontiers, Chalmers University of Technology, University of Gothenburg and Universeum. We work together with film company Untamed Science to launch a video per month during the International Year of Chemistry 2011.
