Here is another intro that I created with OSDM by Testaware. It's a bit self promotional, but hey, are not all intros self promotional in a way? :)

This is NOT an official SAC release!

Credits for this little intro:
Code: Peace/Testaware
Graphics and Design: Roy/SAC
Music: Unknow (I knew the song, found the mod, but didn't find out who did it :()

You can download this video in AVI format (50+ MB) at http://www.mediafire.com/?jtj5mtmkiqo

The executable for Win32 PC can be downloaded here (less than 200KB) http://www.mediafire.com/?4ziyooinjii

and don't forget to visit http://www.roysac.com/ :)

Cheers!
Roy/SAC

  • Yes, nice intro! But also the font and the cool tracker module :)

  • Thanks.. Btw. I will shoot you an email with some links that you will probably appreciate and some questions :)

  • I've heard the song, too, but I can't for the life of me remember who made it. :)

I really like the name graphic and the font. Effects are pretty basic. :)

  • Oops that response was also me, but with another YouTube account of mine :)

  • what a great tune!

  • same here.. I also cannot remember who created the tune. There were no credits in the .MOD itself. :(

  • nice OSDM intro ^^

  • It depends, some stuff was done on a PC with programs like Fasttracker 2 and Screamtracker 3 (to name the most popular trackers), there are a lot more of those on the Commodore Amiga, but the best known ones are Soundtracker and ProTracker. The C64 music are SIDs and there are also a bunch of tools out there. The beauty is that pretty much all of them are free and always were free, developed by members of the demoscene.

  • Have you thought about trying to include a MorphDots effect, perhaps combined with motion blur? That would certainly fit the theme. :)
