I know that whiny noise when you turn it off. Its one of two things. 1.the motor brushes arent seated right. or 2. The bearings are shot. Nice though

well, I had replaced the bearings so those were definitely good :) may have been the brushes though, since I didn't replace those. these vacuums normally stop a lot faster when the brush roll is on them. this one didn't have a brush roll, so the motor took a bit longer to spin down.
