For everybody it may concern: Removal of parts of the colon is for many not an option. Many people with crohns has developed strictures in parts of the bowels , after long periods of inflammation causing scartissue wich CANNOT be treated bye any meds!. Wich causes pains everytime something passes by this area. This CAN ONLY be treated by removing the affected parts! Gets your facts straight before posting nonsense!

Diagnosed in '89 I've had many surgeries. Not all were re-sections, some were to get rid of scar tissue that every surgery can cause. Bowel obstructions occured and cut the bowel right off and I had no choice to go under the knife. Some people are lucky and don't keloid but I do vvery badly. Death would have been the only other alternative. The disease sucks but sometimes the complications can be worse. If you want to chat, I'm here for you. :) I hope you are better now and in remission.

Wellness Revolution? Health & Wellness was $200 billion in 2002. Today it's closer to $500 billion per year. Yes, it is sad that I had part of my colon removed. But If I didnt I would have died. Some people are just fucking stupid. Like the guy who posted I made a big mistake. Anyways, I appreciate the nice comments. Send me a message if you want to talk about Crohns. I have experience in almost all the meds and procedures.

Excuse me, but unless you're in that person's shoes you don't have the right to judge what was done in this situation. I know of people who have healthy lifestyles and are still affected by this debilitating condition.
