Within this video the basic framework of DFM is explored with the essential processes of planet Earth modelled upon the ternary framework to develop a three dimensional model. The models components are then shown to be similarly arranged according to ternary logic and are thus recursive in nature. It then looks at how these various components can be arranged in a topological map to represent a passive radiation budget, the hydrological and carbon cycle.

@SaveTheWheat whilst the mystic and romantic in me tends to agree that all things are 'alive' be they the mountains, drops of rain or breaths of air in the rather sterile context of science the minerals, the water and the atmospheric gasses are no more alive here than they are on the moon, as much as I like his smiling face :-)
