This is Surfer Mike Parson's tow-in surfing a 65 foot wave at Jaws (Peahi) on Maui, Hawaii. This is an oldie but goodie (shot in 2002).

Cinematography by Peter Fuszard. Surfer Magazine called Fuszard's work, "One of the most brilliantly executed pieces of surf cinematography ever." Peter is an Emmy Award winning cinematographer and director.

Award winning, all time best surf clip at Jaws (Peahi)..
He is "Big Wave Surfing" which is a discipline within surfing in which experienced surfers paddle into or are towed onto waves which are 20+ high, on surf boards known as "guns" or "rhino chasers". Sizes of the board surfers uses to reach the wave are larger, & longer allowing them the advantage of being more stable and the ability to ride longer
