    Unfortunately, Abrams idea of a "mystery box" is a series of illogical and unsatisfying non-sequiturs.

    Besides which, the heart of Star Wars is not cheap plot gimmicks, but archetypal mythology. This is why the series needed Guillermo del Toro on board.
