i am one to be open to different styles of film foreign/classics etc. but this one just didn't do it for me, i may need a second watch so i can possibly get more from it.
this may be one of the first universally well received films that i wasn't a fan of :/ D:

People are like lobsters in a pot. They have to pull the next guy down so that they can feel as though they are climbing upward. Buneul knew this better than any filmmaker.

This was such an extraordinary film in it's day, and is still just as relevant! Like all true visionaries and madmen, Bunuel saw beyond the veneer.
