Fashion's Fool (Doctor Who Ditty for Zane)

Here's a little ditty I wrote for my nephew Zaney. Enjoy.

Well travelin' in time
Can make you lose your mind
if you haven't got some knowledge from a book
but more important than your smarts
is dressing from your hearts
'Cuz the one thing you can't fake,
is the look.

Make sure your fez is on right
and your tie is tied tight
and your trainers are polished nice and clean
and when you're in a bind
grab your glasses, and you'll find
you'll be the best dressed Timelord
you've ever seen.

Well Socrates and Aristotle
Were practically Toga models
and Marilyn wore shiny things galore!
But a Timelord with cleverness
should never be underdressed
to show the Dalek army what for.

but Fashions never last
so be sure you don't become some fashion's fool

'cuz we ALL know the Bow-ties are cool!
