Anne Hanning, Indigenous Researcher and National Coordinator, Australian Early Development Index, and Bonnie Moss, Telethon Institute for Child Health & Menzies School of Health Research, will talk about how she has worked with Indigenous communities in Australia to create cultural relevance for the Early Development Instrument data.
Finally, Tracy Smyth Community Facilitator, Alberni Valley Make Children First Network, will discuss the importance of developing community partnerships as the foundation for using research effectively.
The panel will be introduced by Michael McKnight, President & Chief Executive Officer of the
United Way of the Lower Mainland. There will also be a question and answer period following the three presentations.
