Sorry...I didn't mean to make anyone feel older...I am 50 years old myself! But my Mom for years told us not to cross 8 Mile ( we lived 2 blocks North of 8 Mile off of Gratiot ) I think that was because of the riots tho! I love seeing what things looked like in years past. Have always taken an interest in history, especially the history of Detroit!

@Anniegran61 I lived near Grand River/ 7 Mile Rd area (There used to be a State Police outpost there) Right near this area between Detroit bound (northwest) & Redford bound (south east) Grand River, There were trolley tracks that ended, just like it shows here in this video- I remember seeing those as a teen, as I used to ride my bike all over that area...My mom told me the trolley ended there, and was traveled by many to Detroit back in the day ! (I'm in my late 50's)
