@jameyisnumber1 What do you say about "Yes Ma'am", or even "The Bull and The Beaver" which was a duet with Merle? She was also a phenominal song writer with greats like "Dallas"--Connie Smith, "Get Whatcha Got And Go",--Loretta Lynn, or even the two number one hits of Merle Haggard, "You Take Me For Granted", and "Someday, When things Are Good". Leona is a powerhouse artist who was never given much of a chance. Today, she's in high demand, here and across the sea. Awesome lady!
@latokatn506 Leona was a great singer, sorta in between a Connie Smith and a Tammy Wynette, but she never had a big hit which is why she never made it big.

I disagree, Jimmy Fields. Merle was just being himself - the guy she married.
