  • @TheSlapdown apart from the cunard ships these cruisers don't cross cause they're afraid they'll be hit by a freak wave - real life posiedons one of my old ships is at the start of this video the stena invicta the square looking one i miss it - the drivers, the bad weather, the crews, i'd go back except i'v a cat now bulk carriers aren't very safe either one of them sinks every week i chose my ships very carefully

  • @krugerfuchs I've heard all sorts about Clyde Marine, sounds like a great deal of it is true. I haven't driven abroad as a trucker for over a decade, is it still the same on these ships? O' man, I wonder what goes on behind the scenes on the cruise ships that sail all over the world now. From what I've heard many of them are not good sailors, and the ships aren't very good either. I was suprised to hear not many cruise ships could cross the atlantic. This also true? Thanks for talking mate!

  • @TheSlapdown you don't know the half of it we used to have wheelchair racing in the morning when we had the ship clean , the entertainers left these giant tom and jerry outfits onboard so we put them on i was on sealink irish ferries and p&o i tried to become an officer but was discriminated by clyde marine

  • @krugerfuchs Thanks, I've found the book, I think I know where I can buya copy. A friend of mine worked for Sealink and admits to being "Pissed" on most shifts he worked. Amazing!!

  • @TheSlapdown i used to work on p&o european ambassador their way of doing things seemed the same even after the herald like it never happened really scary have you read steven homewoods book on the herald if you havn't i strongly recommend it

  • @krugerfuchs No evidence, but we all know he was drunk. Townsend wanted this dealt with but the unions would'nt play ball. After the accident the unions were all over the company, so P&O took their revenge and made deep cuts in 1988. So many don't know that P&O owned this company. P&O waited for inquiry to be finished and then repainted the ships making it look as if they did the right thing.

  • it fails to mention mark stanley was drunk

  • Strange the place of Zeebrugge in the movie is more Ostende

  • Thanks for the upload!

  • Woot first comment =D
