This video, from ATG Access - http://www.atgaccess.com - shows a single ATG Access SP1200 Automatic Rising Bollard stoppinga fully laden 30 tonne truck travelling at 50mph. When the truck struck the bollard the energy produced was around 7400kJ. For illustration this is roughly equivalent to the energy of a 1.5 tonne car travelling at over 220mph.

Imagine you're going down the road and see a yellow light (everyone ignores yellow lights and for good reason) then WHAM you're car is fucking totaled and you're likely left in shambles (if you're alive). Fuck this nazi shit.
