  • All very interesting. It's like saying : when the pad is too thin, you need to replace.

Euhm, OK. Any idea how to actually check them. And of course, I don't have that colored stuff you're showing, neither I have a car lift.

  • just change them once a year, even though they might still be good after going through all those heat cycles they could start to seperate from the backing plated

  • Think this Video should be renamed to "When to change your brake pads" ..

  • replace rotor & pads wont cost much. unless you want racing stuff.

  • Great guide on how to replace your cars break pads.

  • Brake pads installation video was a very useful one. Thank you very much.

  • @flynmid thanks for the info ill keep it in mind

  • @xxxCRAZYLOVExxx maybe not, as long as it's winterized beforehand. Also, gasoline has a habid of really screwing up the fuel system if it just sits for a long period of time. The inside of the tank will rust, and it can cause pumps, and your fuel gauge to fail. If it has a full tank, and is properly winterized, it should be ok for a year.

  • can anyone tell me if its ok to store away a car for a year? could it cause problems to a car?
