THE MAN WITH A HORN - First recording with Vocals - 1949 Radio Program

Here is a clip from a 16" radio transcription disc, the Armed Forces Radio Service radio program Personal Album #1599, which aired January, 1950. Features Mark Carter plus Bonnie Lake, who wrote this tune. Offered here is the first recording with vocals of Man With A Horn, performed by Mark Carter with the Bob Simmers Group providing the music. Enjoy! (I think it is better without the vocals)

This is the first time I heard words from the song "Young man with a Horn"! From a 1950 Warner Bros. Movie with Kirk Douglas and Doris Day! Horn played by Harry James!
