  • Give me a break!!! There isnt a kite in the world that will let you travel upwind in 3.2mph wind. I dont care if its 6mph it aint happening. Tell the guy with the wind meter to take his butt down to the water where this guy is riding. BS!

  • These are not 3.2 mph but 3.2 Knots... Thats a difference and in addition you might have noticed that it says in average 6 Knots with 10 Knots "Gusts". This is what the Windmeter shows as well. And yes there are wholes in the wind below 4 Knots but this does not matter with a Silverarrow and some apperand wind.

Have you checked the water surface??? Flat, glasy now white water at all. But anyway. It was a nice session ... I really enjoyed and it does not matter if it was 3,4 or 10 Knots.

  • Outstanding! What kind of board?

  • is this the pre-2010 silver arrow or the new 2010 deluxe? 15m or 19m?

im about to buy a kite for low wind, i cant decide between 15 or 19 due to agility. anyone care to comment please?

  • I have the same kite, board size, weight, and its impossible to go upwind in 4 or 5 knots.

for me it worked at 8+ kn

  • Looking good, I know what it's like. Amazing Kite!! See my vids.... So many happy Customers on them. Flies when other kite drop out of the sky...

  • it's less wind on the spot the guy stays with WM it's possible gusty place itself and it's more wind up there. so let's take it the rider has minimum 6 knots in the lowest place there he puts the kite. plus it IS a huge kite, it's lite around foils. lite cloth bad for gust condition but this one is inflated somehow so it helps keep shape. I live in Moscow - not windy place - gona buy one like this , just not sure 15 or 19. I have ozone 12 most time isn't enough

  • Flysurfer Silver arrow MAKES it possible. This is precisely why I bought one myself. The video is not fake, but believe what you want. I am gonna go fly mine, and leave y'all to arguing.

  • Knots, MPH not a big difference. I cant see the 6knot average Gusting to 10. I see a meter showing mostly under 5 sometimes down to 2. That is not what you are ridding in apperant wind or not. Not calling you a liar, unless you do know better, just saying that the wind meter is not being used right. You cannot stay upwind without opposing current without at least 7-8 knots. 2 to 5 like in most the video simply is not possible and is misleading to all the future kiteboarders watching this.
