WHO WANTS A MONTAGE?!

My name is Stephanie Gutowski and this is my entry for the BioWare Costume Contest, which debuted at San Diego Comic Con 2011.

This costume has evolved quite a bit over the years and the latest incarnation was inspired by Vette's concept (mainly the armored portions.) I've pretty much got my character plotted out and all I can do as I wait for The Old Republic to hit store shelves is... y'know... dress up like the character I want to play :P

The lekku are silicon latex, courtesy of Pam Simpson. The shirt and accessories are the result of several days at my sewing machine and the armor was a joint effort between me and my boyfriend, who also happens to be the captain of the airbrush.

It takes about two and a half hours to get dressed, depending on how much brain damage we experience while dealing with the compressed air.

BioWare, you rock my world.

  • I cant wait to play a twi'lek jedi consular in SWTOR :D Awesome costume btw.

  • @Sylvanas17 I'm going to try the Twi'lek smuggler path and see where that takes me. :3

    Thanks!!

  • I don't mean to demean your entry but that dirtied up storm trooper is fucking sick. In a good way.

  • @VegetableBasket No worries. I'm a huge fan of the battle damaged stormtrooper too. Partially because I'm dating him, so you might have to call me biased. Still, he looks awesome :P

  • I'm planning on cosplaying my twi'lek smuggler at central comic con in winnipeg and I'm looking for suggestions on how to do lekku that's not latex cause I'm kinda fail when it comes to molds and such. (btw what did you make your headband/ear thingers out of?)

  • Nice!

  • Awesome costume! But don't smugglers use blaster pistols?

  • I really like the custume and your friend with the blue skin too.
