What is the name of that middle piece of music, and who does it?

It is simply called "Drum Solo" 1:44 by Mokhtar Al Said from the Raks Sharki Classic Egyptian Dance Music album. It's Jalilah's first Raks Sharki album in which 5 or so others have followed. They are all great albums. I especially love Raks Sharki 5 Stars of the Casino Opera. Happy hunting! Hugs, Souz

Thank you So Very Much! I've been trying to get a copy of that song since I learned that dance, and just couldn't find it. I have a few people who want to learn a fairly basic dance for something and this was the one I was going to show them. I just needed the music! *hugs*

Right at the beginning you can see me (well, you can see my arm and part of my face) at the sound board at stage left. Being a sound technician definitely has its perquisites. :)
