@rickbar123 its not that sick people cost the most , it is because they get the worst care. they end up going to the hospital more often costing the hospital thousand even millions of dollars. People who are in the ICU are the people who end up adding the costs up.
On the side note: Dr. Atul Gwande is a very intelligent. I've read many of his articles and was surprised at the things he talked about. Very interesting stuff.
