This has been such a joy. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I grew up with these people! When you first loaded the video, I saw the picture and said aloud, "Oh, look! Mike and Nancy!" I had to explain to my husband what I was talking about. If there are any Ugly Betty fans reading this, did you catch when Claire went into hiding that she used the pseudonym "Brandy Shaloo"? I did, and I knew exactly where the name came from! I forgot how handsome Donald May was - Mom kinda crushed on him!

Actually, Edge went to tape a few months before the ABC move, at the same time ATWT did. The expansion of ATWT to an hour led to Edge's move to ABC.

So was EON the last soap to transition to video tape? If I recall, it aired live during it's entire CBS run but went to tape when it switched to ABC.
