  • Alright, I have a really important question that'll prolly sound really stupid to you: Is there a different tapping technique if I play on a fretless? I've been trying the way your lessons taught, and it doesn't sound the same as on my fretless, sounds kinda dead-ish.

  • @Skulrath Not a different technique, no, but it WILL sound different due to the set-up difference in both basses. In tapping, the frets make a big difference to sound. You CAN tap on a fretless, but it'll sound completely different, as you say.

  • i'm playing bass with a pick' is it ok if i tap with my 2nd (middle) finger twice and do the intervals with the 3rd and 4th?

  • @merfeldaniel If that is comfortable for you, then go for it! :)

  • can you plz tell me what tuning you use?

  • @apocalipticaftw Standard tuning. E-A-D-G :)

  • was is the guitar called?

  • @TheZombieXecutioner Lots and lots of practice!

Everyday before I practice I start with a warm up where I basically do a bunch of scales up and down the neck using all my fingers.

  • This sounds absolutely amazing!

  • Is the tunning standard?:)

  • Any tips on how to build strength in my ring and pinky finger?

  • I am so fucking proud of myself right now^^

  • nice !!

  • Hey Dman- I have to say I love your lessons, and you inspire me to be a better bassist. I can't wait for your Book to come out. I'd like to know if I could use this lesson for a line in my band thank you.
