  • @Senawhiteguy I would strongly suggest you to go through a basic book of set theory. Anyway, it is not an exact superset of Java but clearly, not a subset.

  • @Serabe That was correct - Groovy is a subset of Java. Subset == extension

  • In 5:22 it is said that Groovy is a subset of Java syntax but it is actually a superset, every Java program can be run with Groovy, but not the other way.
