  • I can see the hurdy gurdy, but is the other instrument a bagpipe?

  • @isomolle yes, it is the french version, the Musette

  • Wow, where is this shop? I wanna go there. :)

  • San Pedro, CA

  • This sounds like a dog trying to play a trumpet.

  • LOL

  • I well wish I was born in the 1700s. The wigs and dresses were cute!

  • i watched this for school i dont like it i had to find early age music

  • no video recorders or cameras existed then

  • sounds a little like square dancing music with a liilte bagpipe thrown in

  • @xbendiistraw Soldiers marched into battle wearing shakos (cylindrical military hats) and brightly coloured uniforms, with beyonetted muskets on their shoulders, artillery could obliterate towns and cities in minutes. If you want to visit the times of knights, you'd have to adjust your time machine to go 300~400 years further back in past.

  • @xbendiistraw the 1800s were the Romantic Era, also known as the early modern era. (which came even after the time of Mozart, Haydn) The French Revolution happened decades earlier, and the beginning saw the rise and fall of Napoleon Bonaparte.

  • @xbendiistraw Nah, you wouldn't have liked the 1800's at all, because of the dinosaurs.

  • @assa123assa123 Hello! One well known 18th century composer who wrote for the hurdy gurdy was Nicolas Chedeville. If you Google "Music of la Folia Itinerante Lives of the Gallant Composers" you will find an entire list of 18th century composers who wrote for this instrument, as well as information on the hurdy gurdy itself. Enjoy!

  • @lichtbroeder Thank you for information.

Could you give some names so I could investigate some more?

That's a curious subject, I could well find something to feed my interest.
