The alternative ending cutscene of the GDI campaign in Tiberian Dawn. This is shown when the player destroys the Temple of Nod in the final GDI mission without the use of the Ion Cannon.

  • Dude..

I am totally 100% for Nod but eh..

THEY FUCKING LOST ALL THE THREE TIBERIUM WARS IN THE STORY

In Tiberian Sun they say that Nod lost the 1st war..

In Kane's Wrath they say that Nod lost the 2nd war..

And again in Kane's Wrath they say that Nod lost the 3rd war..

    Well..

They did get the Tacitus at the end of Kane's Wrath so that means that GDI will be wiped off the face of the earth c(:

  • Pretty much. The point however is the way in which Nod keeps rising up from its own ashes. It's almost as if the Brotherhood is something which can't truly be defeated, because it is a type of active ideology with many religious connotations to itself. As such, they can't be beaten merely through military means. Nod is far too complex for that.

This is something GDI doesn't have-- if they ever end up being defeated, they will be defeated by Nod permanently. For GDI, it's all or nothing.

I would however like to point out that, NOD did not so much loose the third war, rather they pretended to do so, the plan all along was to give GDI an excuse to use the ion-canon to lure the Scrin. So in that regard, everything went to plan, Kanes objectives with the war were fulfilled... in a sense, NOD won!

  • @Microsoftultimatefan but also cheapest and fastest. GDI and Nod are different in their attributes in a way that GDI is more "turtling" with fat and slow units, and Nod employ hit-and-run fast attacks from multiple fronts tactics

  • The Ending music here is much better than NOD ending music.

  • Wow she's decent

  • I remember this ending. It was the only ending I ever got, because I couldn't destroy the Temple of Nod with one Ion Cannon shot. But this ending for G.D.I. was so important to me at the time. The terrorists were gone and the war was finally over. Nod was wiped off the face of the earth. This ending showed me that all my efforts were not in vain and those brave soldiers gave their lives for freedom.

  • @DieOfGoodLuck Don't forget how they failed in the first Red Alert game.

  • LOL I love that dog!!! I think I'm going to buy one like him with the money I'm earning at ez-casino(dot)com!

  • boobies...!

  • The reason for the GDI being the right endings, shows that freedom is never free and the battle is NEVER over. It's far from it, hence the continued story after each GDI victory-filled ending.

  • no she sounds like a handicap translater
