  • I think hes awsome and a great performer. I wouldnt change a thing.

  • I love this song-- better than the newer stuff-- but not as much as Soul Coughing. Sometimes he gets too "musical" and less "poetic." This guy can write, and his voice is like no one else ever.

  • is you am a dog? is you gotta dog?

  • eargasim this dude may have saved me

  • @dollhairthepup No doubt his addictions to E and H helped nothing, but if you find a rare interview with the drummer from SC, that is exactly the feeling that you leave with. Unfortunately, this is the kind of personality you often find in genuinely talented people. They're very convinced of their own value, and if they actually have any, that's a big part of the motivation that pushes them onward and upward. And MD is mad-talented, no question about it!

  • Mike Doughty is great. Dave Letterman is years ahead of everyone on TV in picking musical acts for his show.

  • @beau99 My bad, that was two years ago. I don't care about their personal lives or whatever. They all make kick ass music and that's all that matters.

  • @dollhairthepup 1. Doughty wanted to kick his heroin habit and successfully did.

    2. His ex-bandmates hated him since the day they met. Hell, the record exec told him he didn't need them. He didn't listen and regrets it.

  • @rancid2222 You think Mike gives a shit what you think? Nope. Also, if Soul Coughing didn't break up, Mike could be dead from a heroin overdose. Who's the asshole now?

  • @BruceWillisInDieHard No, he's gotten MUCH better. He's also quite a nice guy, and happier than he was back then.
