you dont have to have canasta cards. just remember the point value. thats how i play ace and 2's = 20 black 3 = 5 red 3 = 100 all red 3s = 800 4 through 7 = 5 8 through king = 10 jokers = 50 me and my mother play all the time with two regular bicycle decks and yeah i agree. its not an old lady game. as you can see by my username.... im young enough to like... LOVE justin bieber.... dont judge me. lmaoo
