i made my vortex its cool!
its in 2 parts cause i had to try different angles and distances to record it for project but i kept looking at laser beam side on by accident and worried about eyes so i know i have to put in a closed box. your box is not completely covered and i can still see mirrore does this reflect out as when i look down the centre of my vortex i see the laser point reflected in mirror, is this still dangerous?
also can too much smoke ruin effect as i seemed to smoke it out.

hi again, i am 11 so don't have much money and have tried with a red one from the $2 shop and a desk fan but wasn't that good, i haven't tried with mister yet, my mum has a fog machine but it was to thick. thanks for ansering me. how did you make those cool voice noises at the end of yr film? i am experimenting with a mirror box as well but not sure if that will work with a vortex. thank you.

hi, is it better to use a stronger laser 200mW? or is that dangerous or a 5mW? which gives the best vortex and does it work with a water mister? thanks.

Too much fog will keep the laser beam from being visible or as bright further out. It can be hard to tell but if the fog is very bright near mirror, it means your loosing how bright it can be further out. You can think of it like the light being used up as makes the fog glow.
The closer you are to the center, the more dangerous it can be to your eyes. What you are working with is safe but if you want extra protection for closer work. Laser safety goggles aren't a bad idea.

200mw could be dangerous to the eyes, especially in a small area. I would recommend keeping it under 20mw but what you see in the video is 5mw. You will get more from changing to a green laser than you will from increasing the power. Green is most visible. Mist is kinda like thick fog, neat but i did not have much luck myself. Incense is good on very small scale. The last part of the video was the people talking played in reverse, sounded cool so i left it in. Let me know how it turns out!
