    Saw them in Tempe in Jan '96 and we listened to them lots after that. A real soundtrack to my life after that. And yesterday I really did see the Mekong while flying from Taipei to Bangkok. Thx 4 posting!

    They aren't the same without Brian Blush. Face it. The song writing also isn't the same quality as Fizzy Fuzzy Big and Buzzy (imo the best album by anyone ever) was.

    By far my favorite song in the world. Absolute work of art. Roger Clyne is a great singer, and the Refreshments incredible musicians. This will be my funeral song. Here's to life..

    @squeekieballs the lead singer of the refreshments is still doing his thing, singing catchy tunes bout life. check out his current band; roger clyne and the peacemakers, still writing, recording and touring. the music is as good as ever, enjoy!

    I came across an article today written by the "new best friend" mentioned in the song, but I keep getting an error message when I try to post the link. It's in the Tahoe Daily Tribune dated 2/8/12, and the title of the article is, "Roger Clyne's lifelong journey included a drive to Lake Tahoe."
