I own a napa repair shop and crap like this really gives the honest hardworking shops a bad name. It is really messed up! Make sure you make the shop show you their certifications before you let anyone ever touch your car.

@CdnSpecOps there called lube-techs.. and no you don't need to be a mechanic.. changing oil is easy.. im 17, still in high school.. and im one of the best at the lube shop where i work.. an actual mechanic wold be busy oh umm being a mechanic lol

Everyone should learn how to change their own oil. It's very easy to do. Because it is so easy, paying someone else to do it for you more or less tells them you probably don't know much about cars, i.e. that they can get away with ripping you off.
