Episode 9: Nicks Struggle

Nicks P.O.V.
Its been three days since that incident happen. Still Alex was not able to wake up, I think I used too much energy on her. Every day past Kevin always cook for Alex meal whenever she wakes up hopefully. I'm sitting on bed next to her watching her also hoping that she wakes up.

Stroking her hair, I keep on looking at her face I didn't notice that she grows more mature, her features are now more like a woman than a Lil girl; the little Alex that I have known. I'm really sure what I am feeling for her but I always keeps denying it to my mind.
I cant possibly fall for her but I already feel it deep inside in my heart I felt life whenever I am with her. But its not easy and its too dangerous.

Not easy for the fact that my brothers, for sure will not allow it and maybe they will take her away from me, and also what would she feel if one of her guardians have a different feelings for her although shes adopted but it really feels awkward, shes 14 and I am 17 - FOREVER.

Dangerous for the reason that I am a blood thirsty vampire I could easily kill her if I'm not too careful on my actions plus the smell of her blood it already registers on my mind and I kinda crave for it.

I sighed, I stood up and messing my hair in disappointment of my self. Really, really pissed, its like being a masochist, resisting her scent its really hard. I wish I am like my brother Kevin who had never drink a human blood, Except for HER but he never killed her, His first love and would be his last, Dahline, but its was ages ago. I really envy my brother.

Joe and Kevin went quickly to my room, I was anxious , did he heard my thoughts, if he did I am in deep trouble.

"Hey whats up? Why the rush?" I ask.
"Its Alex, I had read her thought shes going to wake up soon!" Joe said in his deep excitement.

Five minutes after Alex did wake up but the feeling of dizziness is still in her head.

"Good morning sweetie." Kevin said. He help her rise in her bed and hugs and kisses her.
"Good morning Dad, Aw, aw, aw my head it hurts." She said. And again I'm mad at myself on what I did to her.
"Joe, Nick would you prepare OUR breakfast." Kevin ask emphasizing the word OUR. Joe smile.
"Lets go Nick."

I went down to the room with Joe and he keep on mumbling about it.
"Do we really have to eat those food?"
"They do look good to me." I teased
"Funny." He said with sarcasm. "It doesn't smell good too. He said. He took the spoon and deep it in the bowl of tomato mushroom soup. "Eeew gross."
"Would you stop that they are coming so please act normal." I said.
"Ok, Nick." He raises one eye brow and calls them.
"Hey Kevin Alex breakfast is served come on down its really delicious."
"Your so funny Joe." I chuckled.

*_At School_*

ALEX P.O.V.
Its been a week when I started my absences because of being sick. I had to double time to cope up with my subjects and take one hour and a half for my remedial classes. Its already five o clock in the afternoon. I went quickly to my locker. Nini and Mitch had been waiting for me in the bench.

"Hey guys thank you for waiting for me." I said. I'm really exhausted in running and I'm catching my breath.
"Hey would you relax you have just recover from your sickness, do you want to be sick again?" Nini said.

As we walk home I notice that there's a tent near to our school.
"Hey Mitch since when did that tent been there?" I ask
"Oh that? Its been there 3 days ago its a fortune teller. Some people said she can see your future and its really accurate but I don't believe on those fortune tellers I guess they are all fake." She said.
