Somewhere in the Houston area. I want to say at a bar called Straight Home back in the early 90s. I was just barely a teenager and Terry was my neaighbor since i was 8 or 9 years old. He got me interested in playing guitar and became my mentor. Of course i was the roadie back in the days of this video. Maybe 13 years old or so. The band always let me sit in on a song or two through out the show. Finally when i turned 21 i was aksed to be in Powerline. Terry's latest band at the time. Terry was also in a band through the 70s named Snatch. Snatch consisted of Terry Neal Thompson, T Bone, and Corky Bean.

  • Wow. So nice to hear this song again. I was a roadie for "Snatch" this was around 1975 and 1976 This was in Hollywood, CA. I lived down the street from the band. They were a strong band back then. I would say a combo or Lynard Skynard and Foghat combined. They owned a blue van with "SNATCH" painted on the side. Talk about fun. These guys were a blast to hang out with. It was pure magic when they played. What a force. Terry, T-Bone and Corky took me in as family.

  • @krbohanan that's cool to hear about. love to trade stories with you. i was his roadie with refried and then roadied and played second guitar with powerline. t bone was my neighbor and mentor for aprox. 16 years. i still communicate with the drummer every now again.

  • do y'all play?

  • it's cool that you guys found these.

  • I know, Alan was my stepfather. My mom is Judy, Alans wife. I didn't even think any of his footage existed. Do you have more stuff?
