When you listen to this, It could very well be considered an early ballad. You know a good friggin tune when you haven't heard it in ages and still remember every word. The only bad thing about this song is that it ends. Thanks for the GREAT post....\m/...\m/....

i think news of the world is queen's best album. so many styles explored and not a bad song. like most of their discography, the whole thing is an art rock masterpiece misconstrued as arena rock mediocrity. they were goddamn brilliant musicians who were essentially punished by the press for being great showmen as well

Freddie didn't need to be in Led Zeppelin to rule the world. I think you're underestimating the great band that Queen was. Queen is not only Freddie Mercury, and a big part of what makes Freddie's voice shine is the fact that all of them made amazing music. Besides, Robert Plant is also a incredible singer. Not as good as Freddie, imo, though. Also, I don't think Freddie's voice would suit LZ music, and the same goes to Robert and Queen. Each are great in their own place
