Making Lemon Oil Infusion

~♥~ I made this Lemon/Tea oil for a shampoo recipe I created. This is the hot method of an oil infusion which is good for sturdy herbs. It's less expensive than some essential oils and is fast. It takes about 3-4 hours. Herbs that are more delicate need to be done in the cold method. Which takes 4-6 weeks. I'm going to be doing some Calendula Oil once my herbs arrive so i'll do a video of that as well. Store your homemade oils in a dark bottle(if possible) in a dark area. So they last :0) .~♥~

you can also use a carrot peeler instead of a knife....less white pith on the peel and easier to do....just a thought!

Your Crockpot can have a lower temperature installed somewhere thats easy to reach and is uninhibited by restriction. ill install a pre-lubed button so its super easy to adjust, squeezing the button will work, but twisting it will work ever better. its the non cooking way as they say. thats something you and i could fit inside my mason jar.

I've come across your vd and i love it. Can i make orange peels oil infusion the same way? my hair doesn't like coconut or olive oil. Have you experimented with other oils?

lol that was so funny that you said that you needed a tri-pod i went to the dollar store today and they had a very strong mini one there i bought a couple of them for my video camera and camera..
