This summer (2008) my wife and I visited the Botanic Gardens in Santa Barbara, California. There weren't a lot of flowers in bloom, but there were plenty of natural succulents, redwoods and a variety of other plant life to admire. The Gardens are intertwined with numerous paths, most of which have a slightly steep incline or short stairway. But all in all it's generally level ground and easy hiking with plenty of shade, especially under those redwoods along the riverbed in the canyon.

Nice... could've gone on for three times as long (stopped when the music was just getting good).
I feel I've been there and done all the cool stuff (sitting on badly place tree seat-- over regular hand-hewn tree seat); now I don't have to go...

Debussy's music set the perfect mood for this beautifully done video. A good advertisement for the Botanical Gardens.

Thank you! Since they didn't charge us to enter (the till wouldn't work: no electricity at the time), I figure they deserve a little advert of sorts!

It's Claude Debussy's "Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune" or "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun", but yeah, it does sound very Disney-like.
