Clark and Lois- Taken Part 3

READ FIRST!

Finally! So here is the third part to my story. Please watch the first two parts or this will seem confusing.

As news of Lois' condition spreads, Lex breaks down and drinks very heavily. Lana tries to comfort him.
Clark, meanwhile eventually releases Lionel after he realises that this is not what Lois would want him to do. He goes to the hospital to see her and breaks down in Chloe's arms.

Back at the mansion, Lex drunkenly admits his involvement in Clark and Lois' abduction. Lana is appalled and leaves but he chases her. She calls Chloe to tell her what Lex had said but as Chloe listens on in horror, Lana's car is hit and she dies.

Lex is guilt stricken at what he's done and without thinking he goes to see Lionel. He asks him why he did what he did and Lionel just tells him it was for his own good.
Lex, already upset about Lois and now feeling anger at himself for causing Lana's death, kills his own father.

Clark becomes very angry at Lana's funeral and attacks Lex in his mansion. This time actually meaning to kill him, Chloe manages to stop him just in time. As Lex lies unconscious Clark asks Chloe why she stopped him and she tells him that Lois has finally woken up. Clark rushes to the hospital to see her. As Lex wakes up the sherriff rushes in to arrest him.

At the hospital, Lois is happy to see Clark and although Clark is so relieved and happy that she is going to be okay, he ends things with her.

Confused and hurt, Lois begs him not to do this to her but he tells her that its the only way she'll be safe. He explains that he knows if they are together then people will always target her to get to him. She understands and lets him go, knowing that one day he will come back to her.
