I don't radius anymore.
When I weld,I move the billet in only one direction under the dies from the insertion rod towards the end of the billet.
The flux always has a good escape route via the end.
You don't want to be standing there lol.
I haven't had anything close to a bad weld in over 20 years.
That is a beautiful old air hammer, and a damned nice billet too.
